As part of a major upgrade to the water network across Warwickshire, we will be replacing older water pipes between Wellesbourne and Combrook. This essential work forms part of a significant investment to reduce the risk of leaks and bursts, improve reliability, and ensure a resilient water supply for the future.

The reason I am reaching out is because this programme also includes the renewal of a section of water main in Moreton Morrell, specifically on Duffus Hill. We wanted to contact you in advance to ensure you are aware of the upcoming works.

We will also be issuing letters to local residents within the next week to make them aware of the works and any potential disruption. We have already spoken with Moreton Morrell College to notify them in advance.

We will be carrying out works on Duffus Hill for approximately two weeks, starting on 20th July 2026. During this period, a road closure will be in place.

A map is attached for your reference, showing the section of Duffus Hill where works will take place. I have also included the official diversion route.

We appreciate that these works may cause some disruption and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please be assured that we will make every effort to complete the works as quickly and safely as possible.

If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact me on 07977 141354 or by email.

Kind regards,
